Our Team

We’re proud to work alongside a team of experienced, compassionate and knowledgeable associates, each bringing their own unique therapeutic style, skills and clinical expertise.

Although our approaches may differ, we share a commitment to warm, thoughtful, evidence-based and collaborative care. Every clinician brings something different to the work - shaped by their professional background, therapeutic approach, specialist interests, and training.

Each clinician works in a slightly different way. This allows us to support a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties and life experiences, helping each person find support that feels right for them. We believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and that feeling safe, understood and connected to your therapist matters.

Above all, our team shares a genuine commitment to creating a compassionate, respectful and supportive space a person can feel heard and understood, with warmth, curiosity and care, while supporting meaningful improvements in their wellbeing.

Dr Kate Pearson

Dr Kate Pearson is a Clinical Psychologist with over 12 years of post-qualification experience across NHS mental health services and private practice, including adult mental health, persistent pain, and obesity/weight management services.

Kate works with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, complex trauma (C-PTSD), low self-esteem, psychosomatic symptoms, relationship difficulties, and life-stage transitions.

She offers a warm, collaborative and active therapeutic approach, helping clients understand how past experiences may shape current difficulties and patterns. Her work focuses on supporting meaningful, lasting change, healthier relationships with self and others, and a deeper connection to emotional experience.

Kate draws on a range of evidence-based therapies, primarily Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). ISTDP focuses on helping people understand and process underlying emotional conflicts that contribute to ongoing distress, while EMDR supports the processing of traumatic or distressing experiences to reduce their emotional impact.

Kate is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society.

She currently offers remote online sessions on Fridays.
